Spousal Employment

In today's world, the ability of a spouse or significant other to pursue their career or ambitions is often a key part of any relocation decision.

In addition to all the resources listed under CAREER AND EMPLOYMENT, the Plattsburgh-North Country Chamber of Commerce has created a SPOUSAL EMPLOYMENT NETWORK to assist the spouses of incoming recruits.

It consists of a network of human resource managers in the area who agree to accept resumes from such individuals and help them connect with the best contacts.  Whether it leads to a quick opportunity (which sometimes happens) or to a welcoming network who will help the individual strategize and get started, it is a valuable additional service we are pleased to offer.
